10 statements will be given to Verbattle Beginner registrants. Registered teams needs to be prepared to argue in favour of and against for all the 10 statements.
Five random teams will be put on the stage at a time for the skirmish debate. Out of lotto, one statement is selected for debate for that batch. Each team can decide whether they will argue in favour or against. A total of 8 minutes is given for the open debate where all teams can get their turn or chance. Based on the argument, performance, behaviour and team spirit 1- 3 teams are selected per batch to ultimately constitute the 54 teams for the Combat stage.
