The Finals of Verbattle Junior and Senior 2011 was held in the Town Hall, Bangalore from 6.30pm onwards on Friday the 19th of August.
Mr. Sunil Rajshekar, CEO, VPL, a Times of India Group company, publishers of Vijaya Karnataka and Bangalore Mirror, Dr. Nagendra Swamy, President Manipal Hospitals heading a cluster of fifteen hospitals of the group and Mr. Brijesh Kalappa, Advocate in the Supreme Court of India and the Addl. Advocate General of Haryana officiated as the members of the Jury.
The Vidyashilp Academy School team with Raunak Jain and Vikram Ramanathan were declared the winners of the Verbattle Junior 2011 and Govindadasa College Suratkal Team with Sudesh Kumar and Rashmi were declared the winners of Verbattle Senior 2011. Both winning teams got a cash prize of
Rs. 1,00,000/- each.
The first prize for Verbattle Junior 2011 was sponsored by BOSCH, while the First Prize for Verbattle Senior 2011 was sponsored by Garuda Mall.
The Best Speaker Prize in the Combat Round of Verbattle Senior 2011 was won by Mipham of National Public School. The Winner got a TVS Scooty sponsored by TVS Motors
