Verbattle Beginner : For school children in the age group of 8 to 12 years. The event is currently functional in Karnataka and will be held in a few cities across India in the coming years.

Verbattle Junior : For school students in the age group of 12 to 16 years. This is the primary competition of Verbattle. The competion has completed six years at the state level in Karnataka State and will be a national level competition from 2011.

Verbattle Senior : For College students in the age group of 16 to 24 years. The format is the same as Verbattle Junior. The event will be conducted in a few other states of India in the course of next year.

Verbattle South :Verbattle South will be held for Junior category for students aged between12 to 16 years, studying in a class from 7th to 10th standard.

Verbattle National : Going national has been the ambition of Verbattle competitions since the inception of Verbattle. Verbattle National will be conducted as a general competition in four zones in India and the finals will be held either in Mumbai or in Bangalore.

Verbattle Open : This is a special feature where Verbattle will invite participants from any age group and any area and any background to compete against any other interested participant. The competition will be either between teams or between individuals. Verbattle is open to all. The specifics will be announced soon on the website. The format is being tested for the first time in 2011.
